Even superstars find themselves floundering in love at times, and Michelle Pfeiffer was no different. At her wits’ end and unable to meet a suitable partner, she agreed to go on a blind date (arranged by a friend) in 1993.

It was on this date that she met David E. Kelley, the producer of many famous TV shows including Ally McBeal and Boston Legal. The pair of has been inseparable ever since. She made a cameo in his series Picket Fences, and together they adopted a daughter, Claudia Rose, who was given her name on the couple’s wedding day. They also have a biological son, John Henry.

An Activist

Like many celebrities, Michelle Pfeiffer is a leading activist and does a great amount of work for charitable institutions. Most recently, she was seen at the Healthy Child Healthy World’s Gala event in Los Angeles in 2016. That charity protects the most vulnerable children from environmental health issues.

She is also on the board of directors for Environmental Working Group. That group specializes in research on environmental issues that affect consumers and they act as a lobbying and advocacy group as well. They regularly assist with farm subsidies and averting the negative health impacts of poisonous chemicals in multiple industries.
