A Close Look At The Beautiful Life Of Michelle Pfeiffer

Peak Pfeiffer

It’s probably fair to say that Michelle Pfeiffer’s career peaked at about the time she accepted the role of Catwoman/Selina Kyle in Batman Returns. The role was a massive critical success, and the film reaped the rewards at the box office.

She went on to star in a mixed bag of movies for the rest of the decade including Age of Innocence, Wolf, Dangerous Minds, Up Close and Personal, A Thousand Acres, The Deep End of the Ocean and The Story of Us. She also made the front cover of People twice, and is only the celebrity to have done so in the 1990s and the first celebrity ever to have achieved this.

Voice Overs And A Break

As the 2000s arrived, Michelle Pfeiffer took a role in White Oleander in 2002, which picked up some award nominations. She also did a bit of voice acting in The Prince of Egypt and Sinbad: The Legend of the Seven Seas.

She then put her career on hold until 2007 when she returned with Hairspray and Stardust, both of which achieved reasonable box office returns. She starred in the critically acclaimed films I Could Never Be Your Woman and Personal Effects to wrap up the decade. As the 2010s began, she starred in New Year’s Eve in 2011 and People Like Us in 2012.
