A Close Look At The Beautiful Life Of Michelle Pfeiffer
Recent Work
Pfeiffer has continued to work right up to the present. She recently starred in Luc Besson’s The Family, a mildly successful mob-comedy. She later appeared in a Beat-up Little Seagull, which is yet to receive a cinematic release, and Where is Kyra? where she stars opposite Keifer Sutherland. The film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2017.
Personal Problems – Trapped In A Cult
Michelle Pfeiffer’s seen her fair share of off-screen challenges in her life. One of the biggest issues that she had to tackle was her involvement with a couple that she met while she was taking acting lessons in Los Angeles.
They seemed like nice people, and they ran a metaphysical vegetarian group. At first, they helped her by encouraging her to quit smoking, drinking and taking drugs. In exchange, they slowly took control of her whole life. “I was brainwashed… I gave them an enormous amount of money,” she said. It would be years before Pfeiffer felt confident enough to get away from this cult.
