Maxwell Caulfield’s Career Almost Ended Before It Started After Grease 2

Although Grease 2 was a drop of water compared to the splash that Grease made, it had an impact on actor Maxwell Caulfield’s career. Starring as the foreign exchange student Michael, he claims that the movie had an adverse effect on the rest of his time in Hollywood. Unlike his co-star Michelle Pfieffer, who went on to act in Scarface, his career came to a sudden halt.

He says that “After Grease 2, all of the films I had been promised never materialized.” At one point, he was struggling for work so bad that he even considered quitting the industry and becoming a car salesman. Although it never came to that, he has felt the consequences of Grease 2 ever since its release.
