Judy Garland had a daughter who became famous in her own right, Liza Minnelli. Liza clearly inherited her mother’s song and dance talents. Back in 1984, Liza reminisced about her mother in aNew York Timesarticle. Liza recalled the first time the two performed on stage together and how they went from loving to competing with one another in that moment. Liza told theNew York Times, “I think that what Mama was saying was, ‘You’re everything I wanted you to be. You’re a force to be dealt with and I created it, and now I’ve come up against it.”’ Interestingly, Liza Minnelli, was also married for a time to Jack Haley Jr., the son of the actor who played the Tin Man.
