Clint Eastwood Stopped A Tournament Director From Choking

While attending a party before the 2014 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Clint Eastwood performed the Heimlich maneuver on the tournament director Steve John. John said he was drinking water and eating appetizers when a piece of food got lodged in his esophagus.

Eastwood noticed that John couldn’t breathe and immediately sprang into action. He did the Heimlich on him three times which John couldn’t believe since he weighs over 200 pounds. John claims that Eastwood ended up saving his life because of his quick reaction to the situation.
