Leonardo DiCaprio started his acting career in 1989 and became a heartthrob for many young girls in the ’90s. The industry freaked out when he finally won his first Oscar in 2016. During his acceptance speech, beard intact, he led viewers to believe that he was retiring from acting. DiCaprio said, “After years and years of hard work, this is the end of it all.”

Now he’s focused on protecting the environment through the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, a non-profit he established in 1998. DiCaprio’s facial hair takes many shapes, so you never know what you’ll see next.
