Don’t Hate The Game, Hate The Player: The Most Hated Athletes Of All Time

Dwight Howard had the potential to be the next Shaquille O’Neal. He even led the Orlando Magic to the finals in 2008-2009, after taking down LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. But then he went up against Kobe Bryant and his run came to an end. Everything with Howard’s career seemed fine but then he started to get the reputation of a crybaby.
His fall from beloved to hated happened rather swiftly, too, as his narcissistic and sensitive personality made it hard for anyone to get on his side. In 2016, Howard appeared on Inside The NBA where he was asked why he thinks people don’t like him. He replied, “You know what, it really hurts me because my heart and my attitude towards the game has always been the same. I’ve never been a bad person. But if you get to know me, I’m laid back. I like to have fun.”
It’s time to pick a side once you get to the next slide.
