Elton John Postpones Concert After Feeling ‘Extremely Unwell’
There were a lot of disappointed Elton John fans in Indianapolis this weekend. The iconic Rocketman singer recently took to Instagram to announce he would have to cancel the October 26th show in Indianapolis due to an illness.
"To my dear fans in Indianapolis, it is with the heaviest heart that I'm forced to deliver the news that I am extremely unwell and therefore unable to perform at @bankerslifefieldhouse tonight," he wrote on Instagram. "I absolutely hate to let my fans down, but I owe it to you to put on the best #EltonFarewellTour show possible and unfortunately, that's simply not possible."
The 72-year-old is currently on the road for his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour. He did reassure his fans that he would make it up for them and reschedule the canceled date.
"The date will be rearranged for March 26th, 2020, and I promise I will deliver the show you deserve. Thank you so much for your support and understanding," wrote John.
The following date on his tour is October 28th and there has been no word yet on if he will be well enough to attend. Fingers crossed for those fans who have tickets!
