Margot Robbie eloped with her longtime boyfriend, Tom Ackerley, back in 2016. Nobody knew the Suicide Squad actress was even engaged to Ackerley before news broke of their elopement.

Paparazzi photographers reportedly swarmed the Gold Coast and Australia’s Byron Bay, where the secret wedding was rumored to be. The wedding wasn’t confirmed until Robbie posted a picture of her ring on Instagram. Robbie met Ackerley in 2014 on the set of Suite Française, where he was working as an assistant director. After that, they reportedly shared a three-bedroom house in London with five other friends before settling together in Los Angeles.
