Former late night host, David Letterman seems like a class act, right? However, on October 1, 2009, Letterman admitted to his viewers that he was unfaithful to his wife of 23 years. It was either be submitted to blackmail by whoever found out first or come clean about it and he chose the latter. The cheating occurred with his former assistant, Stephanie Birkett.

Letterman addressed his audience saying: “[Regina] has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it’s your responsibility, you try to fix it.”
