Having met at a charity event back in 2010, Beyoncé and Paltrow hit it off right away and bucked that typical celebrity friendship formula.

Paltrow was still married to Chris Martin and Beyoncé to Jay-Z at the time they met, so the friendship was a strong one for both couples. While Martin and Paltrow’s marriage has since ended, her friendship with Beyoncé has only grown stronger. It’s obvious that Beyoncé likes Gwyneth, but probably not enough to “put a ring on it.”
