However, despite her rising success, Aidy still falls victim to the plus-size prejudices of the fashion industry. Aidy has publicly called out companies for offering fashion for women her size but focusing on outfits that seem more appropriate for women twice her age.

Aidy told PeopleStyle, “I am young and I am cool and I want to wear cool clothes! I don’t understand what the resistance is to it. To me, it just feels like a no-brainer that you would want to dress as many people as you could.” Finally, things seemed to be changing for Aidy after Eloquii approached her in 2016 in order to make her a custom dress, and she definitely slayed.
