Without Vanna White, it’s hard to believe Wheel of Fortune would still be on the air. Did you know her technical title on the show is “Hostess?” She took over the job after Susan Stafford left in 1982. Her current contract with the producers runs through 2020.

During her time on television, White has done much more than just play second fiddle to Pat Sajak. She starred in the made for TV movie Goddess of Love and has provided her voice to various animated programs, the most memorable being Captain Planet.
