Jenny McCarthy Moved Into Public Health

Jenny McCarthy was everywhere in the ’90s. An early appearance in Playboy led to her becoming Chris Hardwick’s co-host on Singled Out. The show made her a household name, and she took her fame and ran with it, starring in the comedy BASEketball.

She continued to work for the next 20 years while slowly getting more involved in children’s healthcare. When she was announced as a new host on The View in 2013, fans petitioned to have her removed after she blamed vaccines for causing autism. In 2014 her contract was not renewed by ABC. She has continued to speak out against vaccines since.
