Long before he was the host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and America’s Got Talent, Regis Philbin was one of the most popular talk show hosts in the world. He hosted Live With Regis and Kathie Lee from 1988 to 2000 when Lee was replaced with Kelly Ripa.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire premiered during primetime on ABC in 1999. The shows averaged 30 million viewers per episode; unheard of numbers for a game show. Today he works more sparingly, making occasional appearances on Today with Kathie Lee and Hoda as well as other programs.
