Drew Carey Is The New Bob Barker

You already know that Drew Carey took over The Price is Right after Bob Barker left, but do you remember his other game show? Near the end of The Drew Carey Show, Carey pitched Whose Line Is It Anyway? to ABC. A British version was already popular overseas.

For six seasons Carey hosted the show where “everything’s made up, and the points don’t matter.” The show ended in 2003 and was brought back by the CW in 2013 with new host Aisha Tyler. Carey might have returned to host if he wasn’t busy as the host of America’s most famous game show.
