Victoria Principal: Working Her Way Up
Victoria Principal is an actress and author best known for playing Pamela Ewing on the television drama, Dallas. However, that was not her only role. In fact, she began her career in the entertainment industry when she was only five years old. Her first gigs were acting in commercials.
After some difficult times as a young adult (she was in a bad accident in college) she decided to move to New York City to pursue acting. She eventually moved to Hollywood in the early 1970s and got herself an agent, a contract, and roles in films such as The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean (1972).
