A photo of Halle Berry popped up on the internet in 2005 that claimed to show the Oscar-winning actress had six toes. There rumor haunted Berry for years, even though she denied it several times. She finally made it clear in 2017.

Speaking to TV news show Extra, Berry said, "I want to set that straight. So many people think I have six toes, which I do not have six toes." She also ridiculously had to announce she was not pregnant but had just eaten a large meal when an unflattering picture was taken. Her response to that claim was, "Can a girl have some steak and fries??"

Sorry to burst your bubble if you're one of the millions of Tupac Shakur fans that chooses to believe the legendary rapper is still alive. He isn't. The whole tragic lie started when a fake CNN website posted a story about Shakur, after "dying," shopping in Beverly Hills with his friends.

Fans, eager to believe the icon was still breathing, made the article go viral. Of course, the media was quick to point out the story wasn't actually reported by CNN. Still, once it was on the internet, fans chose to believe what they wanted to anyway.

Child stars live under more scrutiny than you'd think. At 14 years old, then Disney Channel starlet Miley Cyrus was put under the microscope when a rumor began that she was pregnant. Supposedly, she spilled the beans in an interview with J-14 Magazine.

When Cyrus heard the news that she was expecting, she quickly took to the internet to dispell the rumor, saying, "I don't want to have kids and lose my figure really young!" Nine months after the interview ran, there was no baby to be seen, but that hasn't stopped people from believing the lie.

Jennifer Lopez isn't afraid to put her body on the line for her work. But because her job as a performer can cause serious injury if she's not careful, people began to believe in 1999 that the actress took out a $1 billion insurance policy on her body, including $300 million just for her butt.

The news was reported by The London Sun and The New York Post but was nothing but tabloid headlines designed to sell papers. Lopez laughed off the rumor, calling it "very funny."

The answer is Jamie Lee Curtis is not all manly. She's the ultimate "final girl" and not afraid to take on Michael Myers one-on-one, but that doesn't mean she was born with male chromosomes. It just means she's a strong and independent woman!

The ridiculous rumor started when Janet Leigh, Curtis' mother, said she didn't know if she was having a boy or a girl when she was pregnant, so she chose a gender-neutral name. She did the same with Jamie's sister, Kelly, two years prior. There you go, you can officially put this myth to bed.

Apparently, it's impossible in this world for people to believe someone can just be a good person. Fred Rogers was exactly that, creating and starring in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood because he wanted children to be raised without senseless violence as the only thing to watch on television.

In the early '90s, the urban legend started, claiming Rogers was a Marine sharpshooter with over 150 targets taken down. After he passed away in 2003, the myth changed, claiming he was a Navy SEAL sniper and a master in hand-to-hand combat.

Pamela Anderson has had a lot of plastic surgery over the course of her career. Some of it is more subtle than others. Because of this, when it was reported she had a rib removed to make her waist smaller while filming Baywatch, no one batted an eye thinking it was made up news.

Anderson, shockingly, isn't the only female celebrity who has been accused of removing a rib. Tori Spelling, Jane Fonda, Kate Moss, and even Cher have been reported to have had the surgery. Personally, we're shocked anyone would want to have this surgery in the first place!

Myths about child stars growing up into rock and roll legends are nothing new. At one point in time, people believed Alice Cooper played Eddie Haskell on Leave it to Beaver. In the same vein, there are people who believe that Marilyn Manson played Paul Pfeiffer on Wonder Years.

All you need to know to dispell this rumor is that Manson's real name is Brian Warner while Pfeiffer was played by Josh Saviano. Just because he kind of looks like a young Manson doesn't mean he grew up to hate everything.

This myth is nothing more than a case of mistaken identity. Barbara Streisand earned fame for her amazing voice and incredible acting skills. Before she was famous, she was supposedly an adult film star. Before you go running to tell your parents, let us tell you the truth.

Streisand never starred in an adult film. She did do an interview with Playboy once, and also has an adult film look-alike named Tasha Voux. Both Voux and Streisand were born in Brooklyn and look similar, but that's where the comparison ends.

Here's one thing Tom Jones and Jennifer Lopez have in common. According to one famous myth, the '60s pop idol had his world famous chest hair insured by Lloyd's of London. Like Lopez when asked questions about her butt policy, Jones said, "no such insurance policy exists or has ever been considered."

The myth spread in 2008 when Daily Mirror, a UK tabloid, reported that the insurance policy was worth $6.8 million. They quoted a "mole" in Jones entourage who claimed, "Even at the grand old age of 67, the ladies love his hip-thrusting moves and catching a sneaky peak of his famously rugged chest hair."

The rumor, oddly enough, was supposedly started by Sylvester Stallone. The two worked together on The Lords of Flatbush and got into a fight. After the fight, Gere supposedly showed up at the emergency room where he had to have a gerbil removed from his body. And that's all we'll say about that!

This is one of the longest enduring celebrity myths of all-time. We can say with near certainty that Walt Disney did not cryogenically freeze himself to avoid death. The story goes like this; Disney was going to die from cancer, but being aware of cryogenics, decided to freeze his body until there was a cure instead.

It is most commonly believed he is stored away at one of his many theme parks, underneath a ride; probably Pirates of the Caribbean. There is absolutely zero evidence, however, to support any of these outlandish claims.

This one is simply a case of Hollywood being shallow. Lady Gaga is beautiful, but not traditionally Hollywood beautiful, so someone started a rumor that the extravagant performer wasn't a woman at all. Gaga herself responded, "it's too low-brow for me to even discuss."

Sadly, the rumors persisted, forcing Gaga to talk to Barbara Walters about the issue. In the interview, Walters asked, "You know, there also is this strange rumor that you're part man and part woman... True?" Gaga said "no" matter of factly before also saying she enjoys playing with androgyny and pushing boundaries.

Our best guess is that if Snoop Dogg ever actually made this statement, he was referring to the Broadway show. The quote was supposedly made in 2008, one year before the rapper reportedly joined the Nation of Islam. Conflict of interest much?

Further destroying the myth, Snoop Dogg announced in 2012 he was "born again" by the Rastafari movement and changed his name to Snoop Lion. The change came after a trip to Jamaica. He even recorded a reggae album when he returned to the United States!

No. Like every myth on this list, the answer is no. This myth apparently started because Khloe Jenner doesn't have many of the same physical features of her sisters, therefore they can't be from the same family line. OJ Simpson even has a connection to Kris Jenner, who was Nicole Brown Simpson's best friend until her murder.

Asked point blank in 2018 if he was celebrating his "daughter's" pregnancy, Simpson replied, "Well, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah. I don't know for me... I would be proud... but trust me, I had nothing to do with it."
