Child phenom Jonathan Brandis starred in several kids’ films such as The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter and Ladybugs, in which he acted alongside the late comedian Rodney Dangerfield.

Brandis was probably most famous for his role on SeaQuest. He struggled emotionally with dwindling acting prospects as he aged, and hung himself in 2003.
