In 2007, Chris Benoit, a WWE wrestling superstar, committed suicide by hanging himself using a weight machine. He first murdered his wife and their his 7-year-old son, at their home in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Bibles were found near both victims. The wrestler suffered from brain damage due to receiving multiple head injuries while wrestling. This medical condition is said to have contributed to the tragic events.
