Ray Combs, best known for the hit game show Family Feud, was a likable host and also worked as a stand-up comedian. Ray experienced some troubles in his marriage and even though he was the host of a hit television show, he was in a financial crisis.

He was placed under observation in the psychiatric ward of Glendale Adventist Medical Center. On June 2, 1996, Combs hung himself in one of the hospital’s closets.
