Gigi Hadid is modeling this amazing butterfly dress that was also designed by Jeff Fender, who told Harper’s Bazaar, “The butterfly dress I painted in about a week. It’s a simpler piece, only 8 pieces of fabric and they mirror each other. It’s a looser painted style. I did that all myself… I usually plan out all the designs and then my assistants help me paint.” Fender warns that although the project is fun, you do have to be careful: “Since it’s all painting with dye, if you accidentally drop a drip somewhere, or you mess up—you have to start all over.”
