These Wings Light Up And Weigh Almost 20 Pounds

Martha Hunt has walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in previous years, but 2015 was the first year she debuted as an Angel. Appropriately enough, she wore this intense set of Angel wings that light up. Hunt told WWD, “I’ve worn wings before but these are special. They’re heavier than ever before and light up like a firework.” Hunts wings were embellished with 20,000 Swarovski crystals. 130-feet of LED lighs—with 1,200 individual lights—help the wings come to life as they emit a bright glow with the help of a battery pack. The wings weighed almost 20 pounds! Looks in recent years have gotten pretty complicated. Remember how simple the looks were in the ’90s?
