After seeing all the insane, colorful costumes from recent years, did you forget the simplicity that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show started out with? Here is a look that was worn by model Georgianna Robertson at the 1997 show with a “powder puff” lingerie set that is very to the point with the main objective here: sell for Valentine’s Day. Of the first show debuted just a couple years prior, chief marketing officer Ed Razek told Elle, “We weren’t happy with the first show, but we woke up the next morning and it was worldwide news and a major network had called it the lingerie event of the century.”
