They also feature a waist cinch and ankle zip that allows athletes to get their perfect fit. To keep their feet warm, Team USA athletes will be outfitted in the NSW Gaiter Boot which is meant to withstand the cold. It also has a very interesting lace-free closure system. And lastly, when athletes take to the medal stand, they will be wearing Nike-designed gloves that use Nike AeroShield technology. The technology is waterproof and also has insulation for warmth. To top it all off, Nike also made the thumb and forefinger of the gloves to be touch-screen compatible, which is definitely an important feature in this day and age!
