Promise me you’ll invest three fourths of it all.” Honestly, this is pretty sound advice – save some, spend some on yourself and invest the rest. Admittedly, Andre may be a little spend-happy with his investment advice, but it’s well intentioned. It’s far more realistic to invest 10% of your income. Experts suggest investing 5% of your income is a great place to start – especially if you’re not making big bucks.
