It’s no secret that Mel Gibson has had a bit of a rocky past in his issues with alcoholism, anti-Semitic remarks, and violent phone calls to his wife. But working with him apparently wasn’t all sunshine lollipops and rainbows either. Around 12 years ago, Mel Gibson won the title of the most hated man in Hollywood, which made many people shy away from working with him for numerous reasons. He was seen as a liability, violent, angry, and completely unpredictable. Many believed that he would actually never end up working again because of his behavior and saw working with him as a death sentence. That was until he cleaned up his act.
