Laverne, Patty, and Maxine Andrews built their career together with their harmonizing voices. Known for their hit songs such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” the Los Angeles Times described them as being one of the most successful female pop recording groups in history.
However, although they may have appeared as the tightest group of sister ever, that wasn’t always the case. Maxene once admitted that the three sisters had a deep resentment for one another from working so close together all of the time. Apparently, when their fans learned this, they didn’t care.
