Dakota and Elle Fanning Are on Separate Ends of the Country

Much like the Mara sister, 22-year-old Dakota and 18-year-old Elle Fanning also clash when it comes to movie roles. Not only do they look incredibly alike, but they also are close enough in age that it could be either girl to play a role. In an interview with the Philippine Daily Enquirer, Elle stated that “People ask that all the time. We never even discuss films with each other.

We decide (separately) on which films we want to do. We never read each other’s scripts. That’s off-limits.” They also hate being compared to one another so much that they each live in opposite sides of the country.
