Chris Colfer Never Made A Big Deal Out Of His Sexuality

Chris Colfer played a flamboyant gay teen on Glee, and for him, his sexuality was never an issue even though other people thought it was worth talking about. “I’ve never made it a big deal, it’s everyone else that’s always made it a big deal,” he told HuffPost in 2016.

His one concern was that his sexuality would affect his acting prospects: “People tried typecasting me before they even saw me in anything else. I never understood that –- why don’t you wait until my next project before you start telling what my career is going to look like for the next 10 years?”
