Jim Carrey’s net worth is estimated around $150 million. The comedian and actor’s life wasn’t always a walk in the park, however. The star grew up underprivileged in Ontario, Canada where he and his siblings worked as janitors to help the family.

Carrey’s mother became sick and the time came for him to step up even more. He chose to drop out of school so that he could focus on taking care of his mom. His family got back on track, and Carrey started performing on the local comedy circuit. At 18, he ended up on The All-Night Show.
