Many are unaware that Johnny Depp was passionate about music and left school at fifteen years old to chase a music career in rock. He grew up Florida, so when his band gained a certain level of success, they moved to Los Angeles.

While in Los Angeles, Depp met Nicolas Cage. Cage opened some doors for a young Depp which eventually led to a role in A Nightmare on Elm Street. The rest is history.
