Chris O’Donnell Took A Break From Acting To Raise Five Kids

Chris O’Donnell’s career was on fire in the in the ’90s with films including Circle of Friends, The Bachelor, and Batman and Robin. But after he got married and started a family in his mid-twenties, he decided to step out of the spotlight. Raising five children was a bigger priority than his film career.

“I was being offered these huge films that would have taken my career to a different level, and I decided to put on the brakes,” he told People. “I knew if I continued on that track, I probably wouldn’t have gotten married.” When his children got older, he started acting again in NCIS: Los Angeles.

The next A-list star says she was a “selfish little brat” before having her children.
