Kate Beckinsale might be best known for her role as the butt-kicking leather-clad Selene in the Underworld series, but she could’ve easily taken another path. She certainly has the education for it.

The star attended Oxford University, studying French and Russian literature before getting involved with the university dramatic society. When her obvious talent for the stage began to show (no doubt inherited from her late father, Richard Beckinsale) Kate dropped out to pursue acting, before finishing her degree. With a net worth like that, something tells us she doesn’t regret it.
