The saga of Anna Nicole Smith is messy, to say the least. The former Playboy centerfold infamously married 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall in 1994 when she was just 26-years-old.

Marshall died the following year and Smith instantly sued Marshall’s family for half of his $1.6 billion fortune. Smith maintained that she loved Marshall, though many believed she married him for money.
