Look how sad he is! Give him a hug and tell him he did a good job. Don’t mock him. Your mother raised you better than that.

Croatia settled for second, and now have four years to plot their revenge. Even if they don’t win it all in 2022, they just have to beat France. Then again, if history has anything to say it about, France won’t make it out the knockout stage. Just ask Germany.
