No one can say that governor Chris Christie lacks the athletic spirit. In June 2015 Governor Chris Christie got his turn to bat and he took it in stride. He was participating in a softball game at Yankee Stadium which was actually a charity softball game for families who lost their loved ones while serving for the NYPD.

The price of admission was $12 to get into the game and it was well worth the price not only to raise funds for the families of the slain NYPD officers, but Christie also hit a fly ball as well.
