Barry Bonds and Jeff Kent played together in San Francisco from 1997 until 2002. They openly hated each other and got into locker room fights. They also knew they were good for each other on the field. Batting back-to-back in the Giants’ lineup every night led to incredible offensive numbers.
After the 2002 collapse in the World Series, Kent finally had enough, saying “I want off this team.” He got his wish and signed with the Astros before finishing his career with the Dodgers.
