Connor McGregor And Nate Diaz Get A Curtain Call

In 2016, Connor McGregor fought Nate Diaz in one of UFC’s biggest fights of all-time. Doing press before the match, insults flew across the stage gloriously. McGregor said he’d, “eat his carcass in front of his little gazelle friends.” Diaz responded by throwing his water bottle at the Irishman.

Diaz won the fight, but fans wanted more. UFC commissioner Dana White wanted more too and scheduled a rematch. More amazing insults were tossed carelessly, and they fought again five months later. Diaz lost, leaving fans clamoring for a “rubber match.”
