Lamar Odom Was Comatose But Still Woke Up

In 2015, former NBA star Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he was intubated and breathing with the help of machines.

Authorities confirmed that cocaine and opiates were in his system. Odom awoke after four days of being in a coma. Then-wife Khloé Kardashian, from whom he was estranged at the time, rushed to be by his side. Odom has had a long history of drug abuse and his floundering relationship with Kardashian was thought to be part of the cause for this incident.
