Harrison Ford Has Survived Plenty Of Plane-Related Accidents

Harrison Ford might be a pro at flying the Millenium Falcon, but when it comes to small planes in real life, he’s had quite a few accidents. In 2017, he mistakenly landed his small plane on the taxiway at Santa Ana airport, directly over a waiting commercial Boeing that was carrying over 100 passengers.

The mishap could have been fatal. Air traffic controllers said it was no big deal, Ford beat himself up over it and called himself a “schmuck.” This wasn’t the only time either. In 1999 he made an emergency landing in a riverbed and the following year he slid off a runway.
