In 2001, Sharon Stone suffered a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage that lasted nine days. At the time, she reportedly felt unwell before she went to the hospital and the stroke happened. Stone subsequently lost feeling in her right leg, as well as her vision and the ability to speak, but eventually, she worked to regain those abilities.
“It took two years for my body just to absorb all the internal bleeding I had. It almost feels like my entire DNA changed. My brain isn’t sitting where it used to, my body type changed, and even my food allergies are different,” Stone told Harper’s Bazaar.
Remember the fiery plane crash that almost took the lives of two musicians?
