Willow Smith may be the spitting image of her mama Jada Pinkett-Smith, but that doesn’t mean they always agree. The 17-year-old star admitted she was upset with the way Pinkett-Smith handled the release of her single “Whip My Hair.”

“I only have one terrible experience, which is ‘Whip My Hair,'” she told her mom during an emotional Red Table Talk. “Just that the values of the people around me should have been the opposite. You and Daddy should have been like, ‘OK, we value her musical growth and knowledge more than her popularity.'” No parent is perfect, even the Smiths.
