Michelle Obama posted this stunning ’80s snap of her days as a college student at Princeton. She was a first-generation student in an Ivy League school that was mostly made up of well-to-do white kids. Eventually, that sense of perseverance brought her to the White House. Because of this, she encouraged all college kids to “be brave and stay with it.”

If this photo looks a little familiar, it’s because we almost saw it before. Malia Obama headed to Harvard after college (her father’s Alma matter) and the mother-daughter pair on their college campuses are like two peas in a pod.
