This is the heartwrenching last photograph of Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 182. The Boeing 727 commercial aircraft collided with a private plane over San Diego on September 25th, 1978 at 9 a.m., crashing into the North Park neighborhood. All 137 passengers aboard were killed, as well as seven civilians on the ground. Twenty-two homes were destroyed as a result of the impact.
