Regina Kay Walters was a 14-year-old runaway traveling with her boyfriend, Ricky Lee Jones, when a man named Robert Ben Rhoades, picked them up and brutally murdered the couple. Before he murdered Walter, Rhoades held her captive for a week. During this time he cut off her hair, forced her to don a black dress and high heels and took photos of the teenager. Rhoades kept her body in his home until police arrested him for another crime, which led them to the gruesome discovery. He was found guilty of Walter’s murder and remains imprisoned today. He is thought to have killed over 50 individuals, although he only has three confirmed victims.
