Nick Jonas Calls His Relationship With Jay-Z A “Great Partnership”

Nick Jonas credits one man for taking his career to the next level. He met Jay-Z at the Made in America Festival in summer 2015. He told Complex magazine: “Quality. That’s the key. Everything I do, I want it to have that stamp that people like Jay-Z, for instance, have on all the things they touch.”

The rapper guides Jonas in his career decisions. “I’ll throw things off him when things come up, music-wise, or when trying to come up with a name for the tour,” Jonas added. “It’s amazing to have someone like him around. I’ve been incredibly fortunate with that. The partnership already is great.”
