Singer Kelly Rowland met tennis superstar at a concert in 2016. The pair immediately hit it off. “It was all of her energy and how great she was – and is,” Kelly Rowland said of her pal. “She is the best athlete of our time – yes, but because she’s female, the best female athlete of our time.”

Rowland attended Williams’ 2017 wedding and also went to her baby shower. She said of the baby news: “I’m so happy for her, and I’m so happy for the incredible gentleman that she has in her life. He is just incredible. He knows he’s incredible, and the two of them together just — mmm!”
